A. I don't think of any others now.

there are in the state of California
besides those roads?

A. Yes: There was a small piece of
road constructed for the railroad up
in Sonoma Valley.

Q. 489 Did the Contract and Finance Com=
=pany construct that road in Sonoma
Valley?

A. A portion of it.

Q. 490 Was not that road at that time
under the control of the Central Pacific
Railroad Company, or under the California
Pacific management?

A. No; I think not.

Q. 491 With whom did you deal in rela=
=tion to the construction of the Sonoma
Valley road, so called?

A. I think with the officers of the
Company.
