Shipped in good order and well-conditioned, by Nicholas N. Ryerson
on board the Bark called the Fanny Major.
whereof Major is Master, now lying in the Port of
NEW-YORK, and bound for Sacramento City. To say:

Sixteen Casks Butter

being marked and numbered as in the margin ; and are to be delivered in the like good order and
well-conditioned, at the aforesaid Port of Sacramento City, (the dangers of the
seas, fire and collision excepted,) unto John W Ryerson
or to [blank] assigns, he or they payiing freight for the said Casks
One and 50/100 dollars (?)
with 5% primage and average accustomed. In Witness whereof, the Master or Purser
of the said vessel hath affirmed to 4 Bills of Landing, all of this tenor and date: one of
which being accomplished, the others to stand void.
