Dear Edward:

Received your
postal card today & was
mighty glad to get it
excepting that I feel
blue to think you are
leaving us. I received
a card from Biff Turner
in which it stated that
Ray Sayre & she are
engaged. I am
frightfully busy &
haven't time to write
a letter at present.

We shall surely miss
you Sneddy and I
trust that your return
will be soon.

I received a letter from
Martha & she asked me
to give you [underlined] her best [underlined] love.

Hoping that you will have
a pleasant trip. Love

Jocelyn
