My dear Edward:
I was glad to hear
that the wind storm was
local and did not follow you
all the way; trees were blown
down around here and our
telephone was out of commission
for two days owing to the
damage it did.

I just happened to think of it. The phonograph
is all right. Henry was fooling with it and
accidentally touched some spring or screw
and it started to go all right.
