Dear mother:

Rec'd your letter this
p.m. I wrote you a letter the same
day I got the letter and addressed
it to the Stewart Hotel. You ought
to have got it before now. Didn't get
to go to Frisco, but think we get
off Friday. What do you want me to
do stopped off at San Jose or buy
a ticket straight through to home.

Got a letter from Aunt Nell
and she said she was expecting me
there Sat. I would get in San Jose
about 10:30 a.m. I think as the train
leaves Oakland at 8 o'clock. So you
can tell Aunt Nell whats what.
