The Heinies need rain here pretty
bad now as we have had two or
three weeks pretty warm weather.

They sure have long days over
here in summer. Dont get dark till
after ten & is daylight a little after
three a.m. Was sorry to hear of
Tom Boyd being hurt so bad. Dont
hardly suppose he will live with
a broken back. Suppose you folks
all are anxious about when I will
get back. That is a hard question
to answer. May be here just a
short while if peace is signed but
if not may be over here for six
months or a year. Am sending you a
