Dick down town &
he said that we
had to leave that
night. The three of us
had a dinner engagement
on Dick. Herb. got
an extension on his
leave. We all stayed
over and had our
dinner. Dick left
in the morning. We
stayed at the Grand
Hotel Haussmann.

Herb. & I bumed around
the town all day.

Monday. August 13, '17

Went to the aviation
headquarters at 9 o'clock.
I passed my physical
examination which took
all morning. Herb.
