thought that we neaded
something to brace us
up before going to the
comander, and we did!
It was about two thirty
then, and so we ordered
a very sumptious dinner
for seven o’clock that
night. We planned to
get the permissionares
train that left at 12:45
about four miles outside
of town. After much
walking we found the
comanders offices, and
were taken before a
captain. He looked
our passports over
and then wanted our
passes. We hadn't any,
so he wanted to know
how we got into the town.
