train finally came
along and we worked
in along with some
American ambulance
permissionares and
got aboard. We had
to do this as we had
no passes, and otherwise
we would have had to
sneak aboard. When
the train pulled out we
thought that we were joke,
and we were untill we
wanted to get off at Mt.
Notre-Dame and there
the train went through
like a streak of lightning,
and also through
Loupeign. Pink and
I had almost decided
to go on to Paris, but
in Reims they had taken
our names and addresses
