Lewis Pebler is appointed overseer of the Rode from this courthouse to ye. place call'd [Leerightsum?] in a Room in Benja. Smith & it is Ordered that the [?] Tithables work there on and that he Keep the same in good Repair &c.

{G.F.} Gilbert v Breton Smith & Jacob Smith [Maggert?] on the Motion of the Pft. Judgt. Execution is awarded him against the defendent on a delivery bond it being prov to the satisfaction of the Court that the sd. bond was not complied with & that the Deft. have Legal notice of sd. [?]

Present Wm. Dublap Reubin Harrison John Rice Peter Nicholas Layton Yancy Francis Kertty the petition of great number of freeholders &c others whose names are that anexed praying that an order of the last court for build a new courthouse may be rescinded &recok'd. for reason therein mentioned the court being read and council heard for & against sd. petition the court [lesse'd?] to comply with the prayed sd. petition & adhere to the former order &c.

Deed of B&S from James Loker to John Moor {3/tax red'd.}Moses Cummins & Maryann his wife to Jno. Lawford was Ack'd. & O: to be Recorded the said Mary ann being first Privately Examined &c

On the Petition of Francis Stuart & others Praying leave for the rode to be alterred & [?] from Daniel& turn the rode leading from [?] branch to Byerley Mill Between Abm. Smith & Dayne [?] G? Givenns fence to Abraham Smiths [?] their old rode & fall into the old rode near Blacks fen which is granted on his [Makeing?] it was good as the Present one is

Samuel McWilliams Deputy Sheriff Produced his List of delinquents as to County Levy & Made Oath thereto & the same being Exam'd by the Ct. was allow'd. &O: to be Certified

{CH} On the Motion of Wm. Ireland v Sam'l. Garvin Indt, Confes'd. by the Deft. for £10..0..0 Stay Exm. 3 Months &c

Deed B&S from John Thomas to Benjamin Harrison their [geatton?] & [wrers] was further and fully hrov'd by the Oaths of Joseph Cravins &O to be Recorded

Wm. Cravins &s having produced his List of Delinquents as to County & poor Levy for the year 1789 which being Exam'd By the Court was allow'd. the said Cravins have [inym?] Oath thereto &c. Also one ditto of Publick Taz same order

Ot. Wm. Harring Late Sheriff pray Brewer Reves from Dollars out of the Deposition in his hand for the [?] Keeping the Courthouse the year [?]

Pat. Conrad Has sworn in as Overseer of the poor in the Room of John Thash who is designated Deed offs AS John Shett man St to Richard Angin was Providing the oaths of Samuel Black, Daniel Ragin and John Black S O to be Recorded S. McWilliams vs Henry Eaton George Henton and James Henton on the station of the Pfff Execution is answered since against vs the Defendants on a Delivery Bond for the Sum of $.. 3.. 4 Notice being provided to the Satisfaction of the court Adm n of the Estate of Barned Stroler Decd is granted to Jacob Kesler he having Complied with the Law O: that Jacob Piskey HT Kesler Robert Hook & John Kiplinger or any 3 of them - being first sword do appraise. P Estate so Agreeable to an O: of Court Directing the Sheriff of this Cty to Sell the Estate of Elizabeth Stover Decd. Reported that he had sold the same for the sum of four pounds twelve shillings & 90/ out of which he is allow the sum of four shillings & eight pence for his commision & that the clerk be allowed 65 pounds of the balance for his fees and that the Sheriff do Assign the Bond or bonds for the Ballance to George Messer Smith he - he having provided his acct to the Satisfaction of the Court for the Sum of seven pounds
