Hall of Eureka Club
Sacramento, January 31th, 1886

A regular monthly meeting
of the board of officers
was held at 10 1/2 A.M.
Mr. L Elkus president presiding.
At roll call Mr. Robertcheck
vice president, Albert Elkus and Gattmann
school director was noted absent.

The minutes of last meeting
were read and corrected
in regard to Mr. Morris Levy.
In place of he must pay $3.00,
it should read if he wants to retain
his membership in the Hebrew Benevolent Society,
he must pay $3.00.

Mr. D. Goldstein made application
to become a member of the congregation.
On motion the application be received
and the gentleman was unaminously
elected.

Resignation of Mr. M. Lavenson
was read and the secretary stated that
Mr. Lavenson is in debt $2.00 on account.
The resignation dated January 30th, 1886.
On motion the secretary was instructed
to notify Mr. Lavenson that he must
pay up before he can resign. Carried.

Also a resignation of Mr. Lee Jacobs
was read and on motion it
was laid over for the next regular
meeting.

On motion of Mr. A. Mooser that a
committee be appointed to make
arrangements for a Purim festival.
Carried.
