Tues
Bright and sunshiny all day but the wind was cold.
We found 1/2 an inch of snow on the ground this morning.
We all three worked at the cow barn this forenoon and
Lew and I did this afternoon got the stanchions most done.

Got a letter from Mary. Frank is getting along nicely.

Quite nice still and warm. We finished the cow stable enough so that we got them in to night. Mother and Lill went up to Mr Dixons to see Will and when coming home the buggy tongue dropped down and the buggy turned around and throwed Mother out and broke her arm above the Elbow about half way to the shoulder. The Dr has been out and fixed her up as well as he could but I am afraid that she will have to suffer a good deal before it gets well.
