Thurs June 5 Wind blew pretty
strong all day. Lew irrigated on the
wheat and alfalfa on the hill. Dave
went to town. I irrigated on
the windy hill place.
Mr Balcom came along and
cut me down to 16 inches to
the share and that makes mighty
slow getting along.

Fri June 6 Cold as blazes
most of the day. Lew irrigated
in the alfalfa over on the
hill. Dave and the rest Plummer
Meda and May went to town
to see the college close.
I tried to irrigate a little but the
water played out so that I
couldnt do any good at it.
I measured at 3 O clock I had 8
inches to the share. Brandis 40
and Lindemyer and Richards about 7½
to the share. At quitting time I had none.
