Tues March first Sort of a cool
hazy day. Alec and Lew hauled some
hay for the sheep this forenoon
and left for Mr McNeals just afternoon
and Dave got here a little after noon.
Lew hauled a load of manure and
him and Dave hitched up Lews
Prince and drove him some.
I worked at various jobs in
the shop and orchard and kept at it
all day.

Wed March 2 Mostly clear and a
little softer to day. Lew and Dave
hauled manure mostly to day.
I cleaned out the scatterings from
the sheep pen and painted the
wood work in the dining room.

Thurs March 3 Pretty fair
day but squally in the mountains.
The boys hauled manure in the
forenoon and hay for the steers in the
afternoon. I painted. Mr Nye was
here and went up to see about bridging
the new ditch the feeder to Long pond.
