Wed June 1st Clear bright all
day. Lew and Kib set slips and plowed
ditches until about 4 O clock
then Lew scraped a little and
Kib helped me shovel out
ditches a little while then
went for the cows and Jake Sheets
took his shovel and helped until
we quit.

Thurs June 2 Fine again
all day. Lew scraped out ditches
this forenoon. Kib and Jake
worked cleaning out with
shovels this afternoon. Lew
and Jake cleaned ditches with
shovels and Kib hauled manure.
I irrigated all day with about
36 inches of water on the
little piece of alfalfa south
west of the house and on
the slips west of the lake.
