SEPTEMBER 25. Wed
A little rough but not quite as bad as yesterday. Mr Dixon finished the buckwheat in the forenoon and in the afternoon husked corn. I felt some better and helped him at the corn.

SEPTEMBER 26. Thurs
Quite a nice day. We spent the day very pleasantly a visiting with A M Lew Mother and me and Anda. Went and viewed the red stone quarries after going to John Dragers but Mother staid [stayed] with Annie and John went with us in the afternoon. We went up Pouder [Poudre] Canion [Canyon] to see the sights up there and we did see them too.
