Fri July 4 Very nice and we had a
nice little shower last night. It
done lots of good too. We had a nice
time visiting and picnicing to day. Had
a nice little croud [crowd] of 32 connexion [connections]
and friends and went to a grave near the
Stone School house in pleasant
valley. Our company consisted of
our family Mrs Bartlett and Marnie
Reas's folks Charleys folks
John Dragers folks Andy and Lucy
and Roy Dyer Frank Beach
Frank and Suzie Shafer and
we rioted in fun and high
living. Dave went on up to
Will Dixons. I believe there
is a dance at Wills place
to night [tonight] he said that he
would be back Sunday.
