Executive Office, JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI.

To the Sheriff of Warren County Greeting:

Whereas, at the Fall Term, 1873, of the Circuit Court of Warren County, in said State, Jet Flowers was convicted of the crime of Murder, and by the Court sentenced to be hung on the sixth day of January A D 187 Four

Now, Therefore, I, Ridgley C Powers Governor of the State of Mississippi, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Laws of said State, and for divers good and sufficient reasons, me, thereto moving, do grant unto the said Jet Flowers a full pardon for said crime of ^Respite until March 10th 1874^ and do authorize and direct you, on receipt of these presents, to release him from confinement. ^act accordingly^

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Mississippi to be affixed this 3d day of January 1874.
