Dear Sir,

We know that you are worried and harrassed at this time with applications, recommendations &c &c; but hope you will pardon us if we annoy you in the same manner.

We write to recommend to you our fellow townsman Judge W. H. Kilpatrick as being a worthy and competent man for Circuit Judge of this District; basing our opinion upon his honesty, firmness and legal knowledge, and believing that in his appointment you will satisfy the bar and the people, and sustain the prediction which so many have made in regard to the fitness of your appointments. We bespeak for him your consideration, will be glad for Cornith to have the honor of supplying the District
