Office of the Treasurer State Hospital Natchez Miss January 1 1874

To His Excellency R. C. Powers Govenor of Mississippi

Sir

I herewith transmit my annual Report as Treasurer of the Natchz State Hospital, also a full and correct account of all [monies?] received and expended from the Organization of the Institution, up to the close, commencing in August 1870 and closing May 20th 1873.

Schedule "A" contains a complete List of all Warrants issued and paid from August 1870 up to May 20th 1873 the time of closing the Institution.

Schedule "B." contains the Balance sheets for each year there is a [?] outstanding indebtedness, Warrants No. 567, [?] 615, 665, 653 [?] [counting?] in the aggregate to the Sum of Five hundred and three and 11/100 Dollars.

I would most respectfully request that your Excellency would recommend to the Legislature the passage of a Bill for the cancelling of this outstanding Debt.
