The undersigned citizens of 3^rd District of Bolivar County respectfully. ask. that. Layfayette Jones. be appointed magistrate in this District under the recent act of the Legislature—authorizing an addition-al Justice of the peace in said Dis-trict—Mr Alex Yerger—who was appointed by your Excellency having declined to accept said—office—
