Apology received from Cr Blacker who was absent through illness.
Minutes of previous Meeting read & Confirmed.
Financial Statement read showed a Credit Bal of £3032.10.10

McKecknie Springs Water reserve.
Director of Lands Advising that Mrs EM Meadows had made application re Water Reserve(McKecknie Springs) No 12 Hd Louth and asking if the water on this Reserve is still required for the General Public, and if not, if Council has any objection to the land being resumed and Leased.
Prop Cr Richardson/Sec Cr Woods} That the water is not required for the General Pubic and Council has no objection to same being resumed and leased to adjoining landholder. Carried.
Main Road Grant.
Highways Dept -Advising that Main Road Grant allotted for current year is £1000 to be spent in patrolling Flinders Highway No 9 to 30.6.46 and General maintenance. Recd

Re Trailer Pump at Cummins (Transfer)
Commr Civil Defence - Stating that with the extension of Water Mains at Cummins, full protection against fire can be given with 500 ft of Hose and GMH Trailer Pump, and that instructions have been given to transfer the Carter Chief TP with 500 ft hose from Cummins to Tumby bay and a GMH Trailor Pump to be issued from Adelaide for use at Cummins. Recd.
Street lights Cummins
Cummins Electric Supply in reply to Council's letter, stating material had been ordered for 6 additional Street Lights which will be installed on arrival. Recd.
Secy Nat Fitness Council re meetings of Playgrounds Assoc in Adeaide at which members of Country Councils are welcome. Recd.
