Dear friend, My father Ezra B. Taylor and myself have received invitations to the Banquet at the Riggs House Feb. 15th. He can not accept I can. He will probably write you a letter to be read at that time. I would not attempt at such a place to make any remarks although I appreciate the fact of being invited so to do.

I shall see you at the Convention. Ohio will come in strong about twenty votes. It was a struggle to get the State to become auxilliary and the fact

that I was [illegible] with my old troubles made my opinion worth something. They had determined before convention not to be auxilliary but did not carry out their intentions. The Toledo society, the strongest in the State has never been auxilliary to the State. In fact for years the Toledo society was about all we had - and the older members hated to lose their identity but at last they have fallen in to ranks and we are so glad as they are such bright able women.
