Edlach 19th of September

My dear Mrs. Sewall

I was so sorry to hear you had met with an accident at the Hague. I hope you are allright now and at home at last, enjoying fine autumn days. Your books arrived some time ago, it was so good of you to send them, accept my best thanks. I am reading them now.

walk for days. I am here here in a small place in the mountains, not far from Vienna, to have my knee and my gout at large cured before winter begins. We had fine, warm weather now. I am going back to Eberhard at the end of September. Marika is the only one of our children there now. Georges had to go back to Bpest because of his studies and I did also put little Julia in a school now, she went there last winter for the day, but this time she lives there alltogether and she rather likes it.

with beautiful high mountains and lovely green grass and woods before me. After this wet summer everything is still so fresh and green.

Do let me know as soon as possible how you are, if you are quite yourself again.

We shall still spend the month of Oktober in Eberhard and return to Budapest in the first days of November. Then work begins again and we shall have to begin to prepare for Rome. I am looking forward to seeing you there and hope you will arrange to come to us for a longer stay afterwards. My husband wishes to be remembered to you.
