You may well say I dwell in an artistic home and Mr. & Mrs. Gross are so hearistic as well [?] I am becoming quite spoilt for anything else. I am taken such good care of that all my friends like me I never looked so well - and pity if I [?]

The house looked lovely in the day of the [Reception?]. Exquisite flowers arranged with exquisite taste and splendid [?] and so many friends came [?]

Mrs Gross and I both wish we could attend the National Council but I know I can't however much I glory in the cause. If it had chance [?] a month later more [?] chance for me but that is the way things [fit?] in or dont fit in.

his usual health [?] did not knw he had been so long absent. Pray give him my [best?] love and tell him how wise he was [to lay up?] and take a good rest in time.

Now good bye for the [?]. May all go smoothly and gloriously at the Council as I have no doubt it will and as I know Mrs. Gross would send her love if she knew I was writing. I will tuck it in along with my own.
