My beloved ideal

It is one of my greatest pleasures to write you for I do feel when I am writing as if I were sitting before you and speaking to you 'vis-a-vis' and you know that I have a vivid imagination which carries me to all the pleasant places I like to dwell upon.

upon the morning of my arrival and I felt as if I wanted to sit down and cry but the loviliness and the kindness of the friend with whom I am now stopping transformed my gloom into happiness and a feeling of thankfulness crept into my heart and dispelled all unpleasantness from there.
