KORANY HANNA K DEC 11

Grand Hotel Dec 11

Mrs May Wright Sewall

My dear noble patron

I am sure you want to know how much I succeeded at Cincinnati. Well I did succeed through not for the present but for the future. right.

Oh I felt very lonely in this Hotel after being in your lovely home and thought I had some callers among them Mr Bryan and Mrs Shroull yet it is so very different from home but as I told you in my previous letter Mrs sproull said it would have a better effect on the Cincinnati people if I stoppped at the hotel and so it had.

I received a letter from my husband in which he sends his sincerest regards to you and Mr. Sewall and tells me of the beauty of California but nothing about my unfortunate trunk. Please think of me always and wish me well and trust me to be in everything aiming to the best and trying to be worthy of your friendship and most valuable affection

My knowledge of the world is very little and I find myself suffering from the lack of business ability but I shall by more experience and longer trials get to be somehow able to conduct my work with good execution. I was never before independent on my own self and I am beginning to learn this beneficial lesson which many women lack especially the Orientals. Remember me kindly to Mr. Sewall and your nephew. My love respect and admiration to your self.

Yours with perpetual devotion Hanna K Korany
