February 4th 1909

My dear Mrs Sewall The hours of service at the temple are 11 and 7:30. At the Lincoln memorial in the evening the congregation will sing the battle hymns of France- "Marsullaire Germany- "Watch on the Rhine Wales- "March of the men of Harlech America- "America" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." I haven't been able to work "Dixie" in, just yet, much

II as I desire to do so. I like "Dixie" - who on earth doesn't? But some how "Cinnamon seed and sandy bottom" doesn't lend itself to mighty themes. I think I can bring it in on Decoration Day, when you come to the Temple, ask the usher to show you to "The Pastor's box." Cordially Yours Robert J. Burdette
