Dear Dr. Van Waters:

I am sorry I have
not written to you for
so long. You have been
in my thoughts every
day. I have not for-
gotten your kindness.

I have been very
tired for the last
month. In fact I sleep
almost all day until
it is time to go to work.
I accomplish nothing
at all. I go to bed every
night determined to get
up in time to go to the
hospital clinic, but as
yet I haven't got there.
