Dear Dr. Van Waters :

No words can express how
I feel about everything that
has happened. I know you
will never be able to com-
pletely forgive me for my at-
titude toward the kind deed
you did for me. I was so un-
happy and terrified there though
that the price would never be
worth the results to me. That
place may be run in a Christian
manner according to their con-
cept of it, but there wasn't a
single person or act that [ever?]
could be compared with the
secure, kind and happy spirit
that is Framingham. I felt
it so sharply when I was
with you Monday and as
soon as you shut that door
it departed - perhaps forever
as I know you were as angry
as a person with your unearthly
soul can be at us poor mortals.
I shant say I am sorry for
