Dear Miss Kelley:

I can't
say how sorry I am
in being so long not
writing. I came home
from the hosp. that
Sunday and stayed
in all week until
Thurs. and went
Thurs to see Beverly.
Fri. I went to
Mrs. Grandshaw's
mother's funeral. I
also applied for a
job. They called me
Sun. afternoon and
told me to come to
work Mon. A.M. So
I have been work-
ing all this week.

I wrote {Doctor} V.W. 2 wks ago but have no ans. I hope
she is not ill.
