Dearest Miss Green,

Which I'll always call you
that. I do hope you, Mr. Ralph,
and my two children are in the
best of health. I arrived home
safe and sound and all my family
was so happy that for awhile no
one said anything. Just sat and
cried. It's such a wonderful feeling
being home again. I haven't been
anywhere as yet. I'm doing a
little days work. I want to do
day work for about another week,
and then I want a steady job.
My first couple of nights home,
I couldn't sleep, and believe
me, so I miss Susan and
Ralphie. Give them a great big
kiss and hug for me. Tell Susan
not to forget what I told her
