Sessile — Bloss in proper
panicles, deep yellow.

I think this must be
a new Species —

Lactuca arvensis — follis sessilia,
pinatifidis; laciniis sursum
dentatis, venosis.

It may be L. perennis — it
is an annual plant Como. in
old Feilds — & by fences among
bushes Aug-Sept.
