they would reach so long a destination
as crossing of the Atlantic to England
with safety. In some instances
(once when sending ova to the Marquis
of Lorne) the ova have reached [?]
the north of Scotland in pretty fair
condition.

Should your department
decide to forward any ova of our
Canadian fishes to the National
Fish Cultural Association of England,
we shall endeavour to pack them
in the best possible manner and
ship them with written instructions
how to be cared for en route.

It would be [matter?] of
information for me to learn what
success attendded the shipment
of ova to the Colonial Exhibition
in London last year; there cases
sent (two shipments were made) under
the care of your department officers
having charge of the Canadian
Exhibition. So far I have not heard
anything statung to the success
of the fish eggs.

Should salmon eggs only
be required to send to the Association
[?] England, they would be sent
[?] the Bedford Hatchery [?]
