As the time is now at
hand in which fish Eggs intended
for any other localities in the County
should be transported, I beg to enquire
whether it is proposed by your
Department to transfer either Salmon
Trout, or White-fish Eggs from the Sandwich,
and Newcastle hatcheries, to any
of the Establishments in the lower
Provinces: - I am not aware of any
applications having been made by
any persons as in previous years. The
only officers asking for these Eggs are
those at the Beford and St John River
Establishments who make mention
for supplies in their Reports.

The Magog hatchery will
necessarily have the supplies from
this nursery with Sal-trout Eggs, as this
has been fully understood from the beginning
of the season; The transport of these to
Magog will soon take place: But before
doing so, it is advisable to learn from
your Department what other order [...]
