P. 42 line 3d -- After the amended form proposal
above -- "and the usual fee for a deed" -- and the words,
"and receive a certificate therefor" --

I would add the words:

"in the form con-
tained in Appendix B." --

I would make this certif-
icate express the number of the lot which will be
a convenience both to the proprietor and the Cor-
poration; and I would also amend further
by striking out from the 7th & 8th lines the words --

"presenting
the certificate and" --

as the redelivery of this certificate
to the Treasurer is often inconvenient, and cannot
be of any use to the Corporation, the receipting for the
deed rendering it null and void. It would be impos-
sible for the holder to demand another deed for it, and
it can only be available by way of transfer "on the
books of the Corporation"
. The Treasurer says there is
no need of requiring the redelivery of the certificate.
Usually when the party calls for his deed, he is found
to have filed away the certif. as a receipt for the money paid.

The amended clause would then read -- changing the words --
"for said deed" -- into -- "therefor" -- and adding "upon the margin of the
certificate book" -- as follows: --
