Dear Sir

I should like you to go to work
on the [brown?] gates which I sent in to your place
and do all you can to restore them to shape
at an [?] of $40 to $50 ( fifty dollars) If you
find after beginning work, that this amount is
more than it will pay to spend on the gates, of course
I don't want it spent.

Do the very best you can with these, and when
ready send me a postal card, as I want to see
how well you succeed, before you send them
out.
