Dear Sir
The terms of the sale of the
ornamental addition to your lot have been
carefully considered, but the Committee on Lots feel that they have
already made a considerable concession in selling you
an ornamental land at a lower rate, land which is
entirely suitable, and as readily sold as usual, for
a burial lot, which makes a difference in the amount
received by us of $234. -- and this they did because
you had done so much to make your lot an [attrac-
tive? one?]. The other lots have been sold with the under-
standing that every lot on the new territory was to be under
[?] care and the trustees passed a vote to this effect
[?] any sales were [?] which they do not see that
[?].
I would call your attention to the fact that all the price
[?] that [now?] and are much lower than in the old Cemetery
and [?] a deduction was made to you by your taking
the land as ornamental land. I wrote you to this effect in June
& think the letter must have miscarried -- Respectfully J.W. Lovering
