On the 6^th day of Sep^t I
[wrote?] to you asking permission to
change the grade of your lot
3439 in order to improve the general
appearance of that part of the
Cemetery where we were making
some changes. As yet I have
heard no response. The other parties
to whom I applied have given me
the necessary permission, with
the exception of Mrs Brown to whom
I have again written today -

Please give this matter the attention
it merits as soon as possible, in
order that the work may be done
