I have investigated
the item complained of on bill of
1^st inst [?]:, "raising sunken grave"
I find that when we began to
raise the grave it sank still [more?]
and that there [?] used 1 cart
load of loam and 5 hours labor

I have made the price for this
$1.50 which is less than our usual
charge as per other bill. This will
I trust be satisfactory as by it we
share part of the cost with you
