Dear Madam

I [?] [this?] Mr. Collins our
gardener that you desire to secure four of the
headstones in lot #1865 to the new lot selected by you
on the Stone Farm, and I would say in answer to your
note in regard to the [?] as to height, that one of
the headstones is below the required height & so can of course
be put up, two [more?] are marble slabs which can be
cut off to the required height without injury and at
[?] Expense, and the other one which is of thicker marble
and has a rounded top you can erect as it is, and
the Committee on Lots will recommend the Trustees at
this next meeting to pass a vote permitting it as an
Exception to the usual rule.

I can have the headstones cut off for you, if you desire;
the Expense would be probably $6.00
