Dear Madam

In regard to the charge
for repairing the sod on your lot after the curb was set
I find an overcharge of $4⁰⁰ which I will correct and
thus make that item $12.25 in place of $16.25

The curb was set in midsummer, hence it was
impossible to save the sod, which might have been
[?], had it been in spring or fall.

I have notified the Treasurer of this correction in your
bill
