Dear Sir

Your favor of the 9^th inst
received, and I enclose you the order for the
additional land on the North side.

I have had the cost of altering the fence looked
into, and I find that to take out fence on the
North side of your lot, and place across the passageways
to connect with M^r [Farnais?] lot, and to take of the
sod then grade it evenly & replace the same sod, will
cost $12.00 or if the fence is painted after the alteration $15,
(and I see that it needs it.)

I also find that for $5.00 more, or $20 in all I can so arrange
the front fence, as to make the gate come in the centre of
the lot after the addition is made. If you decide to take
all or a part of the [Farrar?] lot this will make no difference,
but if you are going to take the addition only on the North side
the lot will look better to have the gate in the centre.

The myrtle should be planted soon, and as far as agreeable
to proprietors, the Trustees are [?] to do all the work on the
lots. I will make the alteration in the fence, as soon as I hear from you
