Mr Edward M. Davis [footof?] west 391[?] St.
N.Y. City

Dear Sir

I find upon looking
over my stock of slate that I have
none large enough to cover a
catacomb of the size proposed by
you this morning. The best
that I can do under the circumstances
is to build two brick graves side
by side; this will cost $46.00
making a total for the whole work
of $91.00. I can order a set
of slate especially for the catacomb
to hold the two, but this would
materially increase the cost
over the way I propose

July 30 [187]8

Mrs. C.M. Fellows 53 N. Ave.

Dear Madam

The cost of
preparing and planting English
Ivy on grave in lot 3577
will be $12.00.

It is not thought expedient
by our Gardener to plant
the ivy until spring.

Very Respectfully
J.W. Lovering Supt.
