C.C. Jackson Esq

Dear Sir

The Treasurer has forwarded
me yours of the 14th inst for reply.

The bill of $650 which you paid for
lot #2147 on Oct 30th paid for the care of
the lot which consists in keeping the grass
cut & the lot raked off & clean, and for
top dressing with manure.

In making any arrangement for the per-
petual care of the lot, it would be
better to arrange if possible for the care
of the three lots in the enclosure. This
would cost including the painting of
the fence & the cleaning of the headstones
$1050.00 or if the renewal of the headstones
is included the cost would be $250
additional.

If the fence were removed the expense
of perpetual care would be one hundred
and fifty dollars less.

The cost of perpetual care of your lot
#2147 alone, would be including the
cleaning of the headstones, and the painting
of the fences (for as long as the fence on the
adjoining lots is kept in order) $450
and including the renewal of the headstones
$150 additional. If the fence were
first removed either estimate would
be $75 dollars less.

Yrs very truly
J.W. Lovering
Supt.
