Dear Sir

I have heard from
Mr. Stickney in answer to the letter I
wrote him about the purchase of the
lots owned by yourself & daughter nos.
3119 & 4390, but he writes me that
he has no use for more land than
he now owns.

In regard to an exchange of
lots with the Corporation, I think the
Trustees would approve an exchange
with you for as many feet of land
as you now own in lots 3119 & 4390,
that is 865 sq feet, by your paying
the additional deposit required for
the perpetual care, provided you did
not select land which was held
at the highest rates; and in some
parts of the old Cemetery (not
including Halcyon Lake or the exten-
sion of Fountain Ave) where there
are not many lots under perpetual
care, you might take the lot without
any provision for the perpetual care,
but in justice to those who have
purchased on the Stone Farm and
on Halcyon Lake and the Fountain
Ave extension, to whom it has been
represented that no lots would be
sold without perpetual care, in
those portions of the Cemetery, no such
arrangement could be made there.
