In reply to
your favor of the 16th. I would say
that the removal of your mother's
remains can take place at such
time as you prefer, if you give
several days notice of the time
desired, and should it prove to
be a stormy day, the removal can
be postponed to the first pleasant
day at the same hour. When you
decide, will you please insert the
day & hour & sign the enclosed blank
and return to me, and please
state at same time, whether a
brick vault is to be placed in the
new lot for your mother's remains, &
if it is to be on the right hand ^(as you face the lot) side
of your father's grave which is the
usual place.

The brick grave can be prepared &
the grave in the old lot opened so
that when you reach here you
would find every thing ready to
have the transfer made in a
short time.

Under the circumstances, I think
the old stone might be removed, but
it should be set as low as possible.
No shrub of any kind would be
allowed as a hedge or mark around
your lot, but myrtle or annual
flowers can be planted, but
when in straight lines, I think
