the cemetery very soon would you
please call for the foreman and
he will go to your lot with you
and explain on the spot what
is needed there and give you
estimate as to cost. Therre are some
improvements that might be made there
which I think would be better under-
-stood in this way than by writing.

I do not know that I
understand from your note just what
you want in the way of care for your
lot. The care of the lot is ^$3. the top-
dressing in the fall ^$2. Do I understand
that you wish both done -

In regard to the painting if you wish
the fence well scraped and painted
black (as now) it will cost ^$16- if
painted 2 coats white ^$20- and if a
coat of white enamel varnish is added
it will cost ^$26-
