Mrs M.J. Barnstead
New York

Dear Madam

Your note
is received. The myrtle and ivy
are not included in the manage-
ment for perpetual care.

Ivy is not hardy here and we [can] not ensure any resposibility in
regard to it. When myrtle
is planted on a grave a charge
is made for its perpetual care.
[If] there is a border as on your lot it is
optional with the proprietor to make
arrangements for its future care or not

Any myrtle planted we guarantee for one
year and as there is doubt as to the
condition of yours last fall, it will be
repaired without charge

The ivy cannot be made to look well except
by replanting from time to time as it
dies out

Very respectfully
JW Lovering Supt
