awfully cold. 4:45 lecture,
fine: studying physics. asked
to write poem for Cap & Gown
about Beecher. Must try.

TUES.

Mona came to dinner
[?] stayed all night. Did
typeing for Miss Schmidt in
German. Retired at 1:00.

WED.

Mona left this morning
Miss Schmidt pleased, got
1.23 for work. Got course book -
three A-'s very happy:
danced Fox Trot in gym

[?]ap & Gown. Everybody
[?]leased. Got card from Mamma -
busy day.

Letter from home - so
dear. Wish I was going
home. Working hard.

In PM Annie S. & I went
to Jackson Park, Field Museum
and Lake. Beautiful, perfect
day. Read & ate nuts with [GS?]
